The Paul Cottingham Trust is a grant-making trust that provides support to organisations that champion LGBTQI equality and inclusion around the world.
Founded in honour of the cherished actor and committed philanthropist Paul Cottingham, the Paul Cottingham Trust was established to create meaningful change by supporting organizations that enhance the lives of LGBTQI individuals worldwide. Paul’s remarkable legacy of kindness, advocacy, and dedication to social justice continues to inspire our mission and guide our initiatives.
Founded in 2015 by Lord Cashman of Limehouse, with the unwavering support of Paul’s close friends, the Trust has helped over 40 organisations globally, including those in Kenya, Poland, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. Each grant we make is carefully chosen to align with the Trust’s values to maximize the positive impact on the communities served.
Our efforts have spanned various initiatives, such as advocacy campaigns for equal rights, mental health services tailored to the needs of LGBTQI communities, inclusive mentorship programs for children in primary schools, and comprehensive research endeavors focused on improving the wellbeing and experiences of trans individuals.
By addressing these critical areas, the Paul Cottingham Trust seeks to foster a world where every LGBTQI person can live with dignity, pride, and empowerment.
